As lead teacher of The Morris Wellness Center, I will be teaching in the way my Dad taught me. I assess where you are and provide exactly what you need to progress, whatever ingredient that might be, no more and no less.
For example, if you already breathe well enough to progress with matters at hand, I won't take up time teaching you that until we need to. If you are physically nicely relaxed, I will postpone correcting your tension reduction until your level impedes progress. Similarly, if you can focus your mind well enough, we will wait to correct that until necessary. And so on. You will get what you need right now to gain the critical skills being taught.
To be clear, one cannot rush this progress. The truths become visible when the student is ready and absolutely no sooner. But as with most things, there is nuance. Indeed, it will take longer for me to take every single student through learning to breath, learning to calm the mind and focus, learning to relax tension, and so on, as a unique separate training.
This individualized approach allows me to speed training as much as possible--while respecting the truth that progress can only unfold at its own pace. This is what makes us different at The Morris Wellness Center, in addition to helping you gain abilities that you will have a very hard time developing otherwise,
Even in small group, 4-hour plus workshops, you will get individualized training. Then should you choose one-on-one training, that will help speed things up further, of course knowing that even with the most efficient teaching methods you still cannot rush this progress-- but it is worth your effort to acquire more effortless movement and standing abilities.
I am an experienced teacher in general, sharing insights throughout my life with interested people, and having recently retired as a Psychology Professor. Essentially, I bring everything I have ever learned about teaching, through all of my life adventures and vocations, and I bring all of my experience and skills with what you are trying to learn, to your training experience.
I've always been a bit reclusive and reserved, but nearing 60 soon, I don't have time to waste to help ensure this get passed on to the "next generation."
What we offer is rare-- and Powerfully Transformative! Ready? Let's Go. Make Today the day you decide to Do It.
Brief Personal Comment: We teach from experience, sharing actual skill—not just theory. Together, we will refine movement, awareness, and create effortless power through deeply practical and transformative work. I don't ask students to believe in anything—only to experience, refine, and discover for themselves. The intent is to pass on knowledge that has nearly been lost. This isn’t about quick fixes or external validation—it’s about internalizing the reality of how we work, something that stays with you, builds over time, and continually enhances your life. For the right student, this is a rare opportunity—yet one that demands commitment.
I aim to be Efficient Teacher, Giving What You Need on Time. A good teacher opens invisible doors!
